  • Greenpeace Bombs the Shell Belgium Grand Prix Trophy Ceremony with Anti-Shell Advertising

    / Comments (0)

To protest Shell's drilling of the Arctic, Greenpeace did some convert anti-Shell advertising during a recent company-sponsored F1 race in Belgium. The action saw paragliders fly over the crowds and two large banners placed around the track — in full view of Shell VIPs. The protest culminated in a bizarre moment at the winner’s ceremony when two remote-controlled banners, planted weeks before the race reading “SaveTheArctic.org,” popped up during the German national anthem and were hastily removed by officials. The original video of the protest uploaded to YouTube was removed after complaints of copyright infringement from Shell. Weird and wild stuff.

And the only claim any generation or individual can stake in this world will be merit based. So don't get complacent. Don't get disappointed. There's a giant inside of everyone. Don't get comfortable. http://www.american-giant.com/
