Scriptlance acquired by Freelancer.com

/ Comments (6)

Freelancer.com has announced that it has acquired Toronto-based outsourcing and crowdsourcing site, Scriptlance. The consolidation coincides with Freelancer.com entering the Canadian market.

Scriptlance has over 360,000 enterprise and professional users and is one of the largest in Canada. It is also an early adopter of crowdfunding — helping a computer learning center in India triple its fundraising goal in 24 hours.

The acquisition will solidify Freelancer.com's position as an industry leader in web traffic. The details of the all-cash deal have not yet been released.

Given this, and countless other cases of Toronto-based start-ups being acquired, it's a good time to be a start-up in Toronto.

Too bad, my feedbacks on SL are now gone. >_<

I too have a problem with this merge. The funds I deposited in Scriptlance escrow are now gone. I hope this can be fixed real soon.

Sorry to hear that, you guys.

Did everyone get sorted out?

Now i can only bid up to 10 projects. Earlier in scriptlance, they have given unlimited bids. Everything lost.

Now all freelancers are moving to other sites. I do not like freelancer.com
It doesnt have a express withdrawal option.

Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard
against hackers? I'm kinda paranoid about losing everything
I've worked hard on. Any suggestions?

If you are going for most excellent contents like I do, simply go to see this web
page everyday for the reason that it gives feature contents, thanks
