R.I.P CP+B, Long Live Union
After conflicts with their U.S counterparts, CP+B Toronto has closed their doors, leaving Union in its wake.
The new agency will continue with all of the clients it had under the CP+B name, with a much smaller staff of 30. The agency will be positioned as a mix of big ideas shop and a tech start-up, according to Subtej Nijjar.
Union will still be held by MDC (the holding company that also encompasses CP+B) and will be led in equal partnership by executive creative director Lance Martin (former ECD at Taxi 2), client service lead Dave Carey (former SVP client services at Lowe Roche) and agency president and strategic planning leadSubtej Nijjar (former EVP/president of CP+B Canada). Andy Macaulay will continue on as chairman of the agency.
